Timbo’s Construction of Cleveland, MS, began work in November on an apron rehabilitation project that is designed to replace multiple spalled and failing areas of concrete on the aircraft parking apron.  This project is funded by a nearly $4.1 million dollar Airport Improvement Program grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

“This project is much needed to take out rough areas of our apron and to help reduce foreign object debris from forming on the apron area,” notes Airport Director Sam Washington.  “We are very appreciative to the FAA for approving this grant and helping to improve the look and safety of our airport.”

The project is slated to be completed by July 2021.

Greenville’s apron rehab began in November and is due to be finished in July.
