Greenville Mid-Delta Airport recently completed its apron rehabilitation project. Timbo’s Construction of Cleveland, MS, began work in November, replacing multiple spalled and failing areas of concrete on the aircraft parking apron. This project has been funded by a nearly $4.1 million Airport Improvement Program grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.
Sunbelt Sealing has just completed the joint sealing portion of the project, and new striping will go on to those areas that were repaired.
“The completion of this project is a big step toward improving the look and operational functionality of the airport,” notes Airport Director Sam Washington. “We are very pleased that this has been completed ahead of schedule.”
