The Greenville Mid-Delta Airport recently added three new employees and promoted a current administrative employee in its ongoing effort to fully staff the airport.

Debra Cole was hired October 1 in the position of Airport Operations/Maintenance Agent.  She worked for the airport during the summer as a seasonal Airport Maintenance Worker, leading to her being offered this position.  Cole has completed her initial training in airport operations via ANTN Digicast, and she will assume responsibility for airport inspections as well as general airside maintenance.  She is a AAAE member and will be attending courses in the future toward her certification in airport operations.

Cody Williams also worked for the City of Greenville in a seasonal role this past summer in the Planning Department before being offered the position of Airport Maintenance Worker at the airport beginning November 1.  Williams’ duties will include general landside and airside maintenance functions, to include airfield maintenance, building maintenance, vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance.

Eugene Hollins transferred on October 1 from the Wastewater Division of the City of Greenville to the airport in the position of Airport Maintenance Worker.  Hollins brings a wealth of maintenance experience from his time at the Wastewater Division and is a welcome addition to the airport maintenance staff.  His duties will include airfield maintenance, building maintenance, vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance.

Latoya Redmon was promoted from the position of Administrative Assistant to the position of Executive Assistant effective October 1.  Redmon has been employed with the airport for three years.  Her duties have been expanded to include contracts administration, purchasing and inventory management and logistics support.  Redmon is a AAAE member and is currently enrolled in the Certified Manager program.  She is also a member of the Mississippi Association of Governmental Purchasing/Property Agents (MAGPPA) and was recently awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to the national forum of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing during the annual MAGPPA conference in Biloxi, MS.
