Greenville Mid-Delta Airport Receives Supplemental Grant from the Department of Transportation

The Greenville Mid-Delta Airport welcomed the news of a $4,629,550 supplemental grant being awarded to the airport by the U. S. Department of Transportation for rehabilitation of its commercial service aprons. The grant was part of an overall $485,223,116 Airport Improvement Program award announced by Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao for numerous airports throughout the United States.
“These newly awarded grant funds will go a long way toward helping the City of Greenville to make the Greenville Mid-Delta Airport a truly first-class facility that the city and the region can be proud of,” states Airport Director Sam Washington. “I am very appreciative to Transportation Secretary Chao and our U. S. Congressional leaders for helping to secure these funds for our airport.”
