Wings over Winston 2019

By Mike Forster, President
Louisville-Winston County Airport Authority

The Louisville-Winston County Airport will host its 5th annual Wings over Winston air show on October 5 of this year. Each year the show has gotten bigger and better, and this year’s lineup of vintage WWII aircraft, high performance stunt performances, sky jumpers, a visit by the Immortal Red Baron and a fantastic comedy act promises to be our best show ever.

Gates will open at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, and the show will conclude by 3 p.m. Admission is free to the public, and vendors will be offering a wide variety of food and drink for your pleasure. Fly-ins are welcome for the show, but they must tie down on the grass adjacent to runway 35, south of the exit to the ramp area.

Airspace will be waivered closed at 10:45 a.m. CDT (1545 GMT) and will be reopened at the conclusion of the airshow (approximately 2000 GMT).  Come join us for a great show.
