Celebrating the Future of GPT’s General Aviation
By Chaille Munn, Director of Marketing
Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport
In August, Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport marked a milestone with the ribbon cutting for its third T-hangar facility. The new eight bay hangar expands the airport’s general aviation area, providing much needed space for aviators. This project was made possible thanks to funding from the Mississippi Department of Transportation’s Multi-Modal Transportation Improvement Program.
A heartfelt thank you to MDOT Commissioner Charles Busby, Gulfport Mayor Hugh Keating, representatives from the Coast’s congressional delegation and GPT partners and friends who joined the celebration – as well as everyone who supported this effort, including Brown, Mitchell & Alexander, Inc., and Samuel B. Day Construction.
