The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) has announced a bold transformation of its brand identity, infrastructure and digital presence – marking a new era for air travel in Mississippi’s capital region. The refresh includes modernized logos, updated marketing imagery and the launch of a redesigned website at www.JMAA.com.
New signage and advertising will be phased in under a cost-conscious plan following the September 10 rollout.
“This renewed look reflects not only who we are today, but also the future we’re building for the communities we serve,” says Rosa Beckett, JMAA Chief Executive Officer. “It’s about elevating customer experience while investing in infrastructure that supports safe, efficient and enjoyable travel.”
Alongside the rebrand, JMAA is undertaking major infrastructure improvements at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport (JAN), including replacement of elevators, escalators and HVAC systems; full restroom renovations and upgrades to runways, taxiways and lighting. At Hawkins Field (HKS), the arrival of Skyport Aviation as the new fixed-base operator is enhancing services for private aircraft and corporate clients.
JAN remains a key connector to the world for Mississippi, with American, Delta, Southwest and United offering hundreds of one-stop global connections. In just the first eight months of 2025, the airport welcomed more than 800,000 passengers, reflecting significant year-over-year growth.
The redesigned website delivers a cleaner, more user-friendly digital experience for travelers and business partners alike. As construction projects advance across both airports, JMAA is asking passengers to “pardon our dust” while improvements continue – emphasizing that the refresh represents more than just new visuals. It signals a forward-focused investment in Jackson’s future, strengthening business, leisure and community connections.
