Stennis Promotes Hangar Development

By Austin Jenkins, Airport Director
Stennis International Airport

Stennis International Airport has been working on promoting hangar development not only at Stennis, but also across our region. With the growth of UAS, defense, aerospace and other aviation-related sectors, current availability is not meeting today’s demands for hangar space. Developing our state’s hangar infrastructure can be a key to our competitiveness in attracting business.

Stennis is currently running the following three blogs across our social media accounts highlighting the importance of hangars, their economic and national security impacts and the challenges to funding. We invite you to read these, share the content with others and use this information to help create a case for hangar development at your airport.
