Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport rolled out the yellow carpet for the Firefighters and the Loco Beach Coconuts as they arrived for two sold-out Banana Ball games at Keesler Federal Park in September. In what players described as their first ever airport welcome, GPT teamed up with Coastal Mississippi and the Biloxi Shuckers to surprise the teams with a festive reception featuring yellow baseballs throughout the terminal, decorations, welcome bags and plenty of Mississippi Gulf Coast hospitality. The celebration kicked off an unforgettable weekend of baseball, entertainment and excitement on the Coast – proving the fun can start before you even leave the airport!
