Annual Conference Breaks Records

We had a terrific conference this year with outstanding presentations on topics such as military aviation in the state, operation data collection, air traffic control and hangar lease best practices. Thank you to all our exceptional speakers. We were also able to enjoy the beautiful Gulf Coast thanks to our host Gulfport Biloxi International Airport.

Congratulations to 2026 MAA Professionals of the Year Rodney Lincoln of Starkville Oktibbeha County Airport/George Bryan Field and Clay Williams of Gulfport Biloxi International Airport – well deserved honors to individuals who have contributed much to aviation in Mississippi and to the Association.

This year’s conference exceeded past years’ performance in several areas. We had record attendance of roughly 240 people. Our exhibitors numbered 44, exceeding the previous high of 33. We also enjoyed the support of more sponsors than ever, with 43 companies and airports contributing. Of the sponsor and exhibitor group, 11 were new to our conference. The airports represented numbered 23. What a fabulous turnout!
