The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority (JMAA) has received an unmodified “clean” audit opinion for the third consecutive year following completion of its fiscal year 2025 audit by independent accounting firm Forvis Mazars. Completed ahead of the statutory deadline, the audit reflects JMAA’s continued commitment to fiscal responsibility, transparency and operational excellence. The Authority reported strong financial performance, including a 3 percent increase in operating revenues to $25.3 million, an overall positive net change in financial position of $26.5 million and approximately $30.2 million invested in critical infrastructure improvements at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport and Hawkins Field Airport.
“This achievement reflects the discipline, accountability and strategic focus of our leadership team and employees,” says Rosa Beckett, Chief Executive Officer. “JMAA remains committed to responsible stewardship, investing in our airport system and strengthening our role as a key economic driver for the city of Jackson, the capital region and the state of Mississippi. Three consecutive clean audits demonstrate that we are building on a strong foundation while positioning our airports for long-term growth, connectivity and success.”
The FY2025 audit underscores JMAA’s continued momentum as it advances infrastructure improvements, enhances traveler experience, supports economic development and maintains the highest standards of financial management and accountability.
