Wings Over Winston 2023

The Louisville-Winston County Airport (KLMS) hosted its sixth airshow in early October of this year. More than 3,000 folks attended the event from all over north Mississippi and Alabama. It was undoubtedly the best show ever at KLMS, featuring some of the finest acts in the airshow world.

Headlining the show were the AeroShell Team in their vintage T6s, Bob Carlton from New Mexico in his jet powered sailplane, Carol Pilon from Quebec displaying her amazing wingwalking skills, Frank Kimmel in the iconic WWII Corsair and one of the best crowd pleasers of all time, Greg Koontz and his Alabama Boys comedy act.

The airshow was free to the public, thanks to the generosity of local sponsors Taylor Machine Works, Nicholas Air and a host of others.
